Quality Inn Near the Island Pigeon Forge

The location was a highlight, right across from The Island, and we could walk to shops, attractions, and restaurants. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The indoor pool and hot tub were warm, had plenty of seating, and there were restrooms where you could change. Getting there in the cold was less pleasant because the rooms open to the outdoors, which seems fine in other seasons but not winter. The beds were comfortable, though I brought my own pillow. Shower pressure was good but the water was only lukewarm, while the sink got hot; I’m not sure why. We didn’t use the dining area since it was in the other building.

For a hotel in this price range, I’d give it five stars. The rooms were really nice, with a large TV, and there were indoor and outdoor pools plus a hot tub. Plenty of parking too. The staff were awesome and patiently answered all our questions, even a few dumb ones. We’ll stay again if we come back.

The staff were friendly, and the room was very clean. There’s a 24-hour indoor pool and hot tub, and you can walk to lots of nearby places. Breakfast runs from 7-10am, has plenty of choices, and is reasonably priced. We had a great experience and would recommend staying here. I’d come back.

The staff were the best part of our first stay here. From my questions before booking through breakfast, housekeeping, and the guy blowing leaves away from the doors each morning, everyone was among the nicest hotel staff I’ve dealt with in years. I’ll choose this place again. We were in the rear of the two buildings with my parents, who have some mobility trouble. The accessible rooms had plenty of room for their scooter and were easy to get around in, though they only have bathtubs, no showers. Everything felt fresh and very clean, including carpets, which usually make me feel icky. I’m guessing the rooms were updated fairly recently, but I don’t know when. We chose it for being near The Islands, so we expected congestion. Once we found the road between the hotel buildings, it was easy enough to get out at signalized intersections, and traffic wasn’t much of a problem. My husband and I walked to The Islands in about 10 minutes and skipped the parking headache. Publix right next door was handy too. The free breakfast was better than at most similarly priced chains: eggs, sausage, gravy, grits, make-your-own waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, breads, and yogurt. The serving counter stretched 30-40 feet along one wall, so people weren’t bumping into each other just to grab something they’d missed. There was plenty of seating as well.
