Ramada by Wyndham Pigeon Forge North

The check-in desk was nice, but being sent to the “concierge” for free coupons meant handing over all my information, which was annoying. I assume I’ll get flooded with timeshare offers at home. The listing promised a heated pool and hot tub, but there wasn’t a hot tub and the pool was either unheated or the heater was broken. Our second-floor room had no ventilation. The window wouldn’t open, the bathroom had no exhaust fan, and running the AC didn’t help with the muggy humidity. Towels and swimsuits wouldn’t dry, the room smelled awful, and even clothes in the suitcase got damp. It felt like sleeping in a swamp. I asked the desk about a dehumidifier; they said no maintenance person was on site but would note it for the next day. I never heard anything back. I regret booking here and wish we could move. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. There were no drinking fountains; the desk said we could buy bottled water from the market. We did find we could refill bottles at the breakfast area in the morning.

Sam, the woman at the front desk, was wonderful when my sister, daughter, and I came for a one-night girls trip. She checked us in and out, was friendly and helpful, and called the room shortly after we arrived to make sure all was well. The room was nice, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits, sausage patties, waffles you make yourself, mini muffins, bagels, and more. We’ll definitely come back. We didn’t try the indoor pool this time, maybe next visit.

We loved our stay and thought it was well worth the money. The room was clean, the pool was nice and cool, and the whole place was very clean. The front desk lady was so kind the night we arrived on the 21st. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Everything worked, and both the hotel and our room were clean. We could walk to everything we wanted to do, and check-in and checkout were easy. Breakfast had a good range, though it got busy after about 8:30-9am, so I’d go earlier. The pool was nice and quiet in the afternoon but very busy in the evening. We’d stay again.
