RiverGate Mountain Lodge & Wedding Chapel

The room was fantastic, the price was great, and the location worked really well. It's only a couple of miles from Dollywood, with lots of Pigeon Forge attractions nearby. Hard to ask for much more. We booked through Air BnB. I thought of it as a hotel, so I was surprised there wasn't staff on site. Check-in uses a door keypad, and staff are available by phone. It wasn't a problem, just unexpected.

The rooms were clean and homey, and the hosts were great. It's on a quiet back road beside go-kart tracks and the pirates attraction, but you can't hear any outside noise from inside the room. The pool isn't on site, though, so you'll need to drive about 7 miles to reach it.

We could walk to the Mill, and there was a beautiful view out back. We stayed for our honeymoon and loved this sweet, quaint lodge. The go-kart tracks made us a little worried, but we couldn't hear them at all in the room. It was the cleanest room we've ever stayed in, from the smell to how it looked and felt. The breakfast voucher for Reagan’s Pancake House was great, and we enjoyed it on two mornings. We'll definitely be back. I'd just like a vending machine with late-night snacks.

We picked this affordable place on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Pigeon Forge, and we've been very happy with our stay. The rooms are very clean, and the housekeeper was really nice. She reminded us we had a free breakfast to use the next morning. There's a nice creek behind the building that you can sit on the balcony and watch and listen to. The bed's a little firmer than we'd like, but you can't please everyone. We'll definitely stay again.
