Tennessee Mountain Lodge Riverside by OYO

Roaches were all over the room. I told the desk, and the man said he’d spray, but bugs were still there. I bought Zevo myself and it killed them instantly. When I went back to the front desk, the door was locked. A man in the parking lot ignored me, though I’m sure he worked there because he was picking up trash. They need professional exterminators and to clean rooms daily again. I want them to repay me for the spray, and really, half the room cost should be refunded because I barely slept, worried bugs would get on me. We had to shake out every piece of clothing and our luggage to make sure no bugs went home with us. We stayed here years ago and it wasn’t bad then, but this time was terrible and I won’t return. Geese on the river and drunk people stomping up and down the stairs made noise all night, too. People are so rude!

We had a pleasant stay and nothing to complain about. The motel is in a safe area, with plenty of parking and close access to all the attractions. Guest services were fantastic.

The staff made our stay such a friendly, helpful experience. We were there for the fall Rod Run, and the room was clean and spacious. The hotel is older, so there aren’t big bells and whistles, and the bed felt firmer than I like. Everyone has their own bed preference, though, and a hotel can’t suit them all. The elevator was out because of a storm a few weeks earlier, but staff helped us carry our luggage upstairs. I couldn’t have asked for a better visit.

Roaches in the hotel, and the front desk man only wanted to spray something. It didn’t work, but the ZEVO I bought did. I barely slept or spent much time in the room because I was scared bugs would get on me. We kept most of our things in the car and checked everything carefully before going home so we wouldn’t bring bugs along. Don’t stay there. It’s a ROACH MOTEL!
