The Inn at Christmas Place

We’d absolutely come back. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, and one of the best mountain coasters, and they’ve put so much thought into making a visit special for kids. The outdoor pool area was fantastic for the whole family, with three hot tubs so it never felt packed and a pretty pond with birds and lily pads to look at. Breakfast was just as good, with lots of choices and an omelet bar. Give the Christmas coffee blend a try.

We loved the waterpark, especially the slide, the Gumdrop Grotto hot tub, and the lazy river. The pool wasn’t crowded while we were there, which made it even more fun. We also appreciated the 3D room layouts on the website when choosing our room. What we saw in person matched the pictures, and looked even better. We spent our first night in a Standard King room, then moved to one of the four Christmas Suites for night two. Loretta does a lovely job with the decor around the resort and in every room. For our anniversary, the friendly front desk staff gave us a personalized ornament and fudge. Mrs. Claus' Kitchen had a delicious buffet breakfast with grits, sausage, potatoes, ham, fruit, made-to-order omelets, cereal, juice, coffee, cinnamon rolls, Madeline cookies, brownies, assorted breads, bagels, and self-serve waffles. We’ve already booked the Santa Suite for next year.

This was trip number ten to The Inn, and it was just as spectacular as ever. Santa’s concert is wonderful, and we always take a CD home so we can get our Santa fix later. The evening cookies are a lovely way to finish the day. Rooms are impeccable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast has a great variety.

It feels like home here, and it’s a wonderful place for kids. The team’s renovations look amazing, and the pools and waterfalls are beautiful. Breakfast is great, and everyone on staff is friendly and happy to see you. A lovely place to stay any time of year.
