The room looked clean and had no smell, but there was trash left behind the nightstands. The beds weren’t the best, though a bed is a bed. They didn’t really provide blankets, and the pillows were flat as pancakes. The pool was awful, brown as can be, and after reading reviews once we got home, I agreed with the person who said it looked like they dye the pool. The hot tub was so dirty you couldn’t see the bottom. My wife booked through booking.com because the pictures looked great and the weekend price was good. We stayed Easter weekend and checked in Friday around 5. They said booking.com hadn’t fully paid for the room, so we owed $10 in local taxes. Not too bad, but I’d never heard of that before. We were told there was a great mountain view from the second floor. Instead, I got a wonderful view of the giant roof over the front door, plus a bright light shining into the room all night. Would I stay again? No. But if you want a cheap place, this might be for you.

Beautiful view, clean and quiet, with an easy central location for getting in and out. The place is decent for the price, and we’ll stay again. Staff are very limited, and they’re stingy with the towels. Don’t expect much water pressure, a big breakfast, or pillow-top mattresses, but it’s clean and comfy enough for a quick weekend getaway, leaving more money to shop and splurge on other things.

The room was large and had the amenities we wanted, and the HVAC worked well. But it was dirty and far from satisfactory. There was a musky odor, the bathrooms smelled of mildew and mold, and I kept spraying while we were there. The carpets in the room and hallway were filthy. There was no housekeeping, so we had to ask the front desk for towels. They didn’t pick up the used ones, so we left them on the balcony. The TV remote still didn’t work after staff replaced the batteries, and the bathroom sink leaked, so we wrapped a washcloth around it to keep the area dry. We stayed out late every night because we didn’t want to return to the disgusting, depressing room. Not a place to relax. The desk staff member was hard to understand because he spoke too fast and quietly, and I had to ask him to repeat almost everything. He pointed to a link and said to put in 5 stars about booking.com before he’d give me the room key. I did, then changed it to reflect how it really was. The “Will be be back in 10 minutes” sign was always up at the front desk, so we had to call a number for help. The ice machines didn’t work on any floor. This was a last-minute, nonrefundable booking, and I failed to check the reviews. I will always do that in the future. I started looking at reviews on other booking sites and saw nightly prices well under $100. I paid $688 for 3 nights in this dump. I was way overcharged and can’t believe I was so duped. I’ll never use booking.com again.

The front desk gentleman was really nice when we arrived. I didn’t have to do a thing, and he was amazing. My room was truly nice and clean, but the TV WiFi wouldn’t work, so we couldn’t watch a movie. We also couldn’t swim or use the hot tub because they were in really bad shape. The pool was so green you couldn’t see the bottom, and the hot tub was brown and very dirty. There wasn’t even that chlorine smell you get at most pools or hot tubs. I’ve got pictures of both hot tubs and the pool.

The room’s condition was unacceptable. We pulled back the sheets and found food in the bed, and the bedding clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned or changed between guests. There was visible mold on the ceilings and in the bathroom, plus what appeared to be blood stains on the walls. The room looked like housekeeping had barely touched it. The pool was filthy too, with cloudy water and visible debris floating in it. We got our keys, walked in, saw the state of everything, and left immediately. We didn’t stay the night. We brought all these problems to staff’s attention, but management refused a refund or any meaningful solution. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. With the mold, dirty bedding, wall stains, and filthy pool, I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here.
