Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Pikeville by IHG

I travel here for work every week, and each visit has been reliably good. After a long day, it's easy to relax in a clean, comfortable, quiet room. The staff are consistently friendly and professional, and they're quick to help with anything I need. The team makes me feel welcome whenever I return, and check-in and checkout are always smooth. This has become my regular hotel for work trips. I'd recommend it for business travel or a short stay.

I don't usually write reviews, but this stay deserves a mention. We had a wonderful time in Pikeville for our son's graduation, and Marty at the front desk made it memorable. He was genuinely friendly, accommodating, and a real gentleman. If I were in the hotel business, I'd try to hire him away from Holiday Inn. Thanks for such a great stay in Pikeville.

The hotel was clean and very nice, and the staff were the kindest I've encountered at a hotel. But I found bugs during my stay. On my second night, there was a roach on the phone on the nightstand and another on the other nightstand. Then, on the morning I checked out, I rolled over and found a dead one in the bed.

I've stayed in hotels constantly for state work, and this is the loudest one I've ever been in. The main highway is right beside it, so traffic and sirens went on all night and made sleep impossible. Even ordinary cars driving past are extremely loud. I will never stay at this location again and can't recommend it. You'll regret trying it.
