Econo Lodge Pine Bluff

There was food left in the room and holes in the sheets, so it clearly wasn't cleaned and prepared for the next guest. The TV kept messing up all night too. 1/10 👎🏼

The smell in the room hit us right away. It was overpowering, musty and moldy, like an abandoned house that had been sitting for ages. Even the bedding smelled that way, so I put my own blanket over the bed to sleep. We went out for incense, but it didn't help. I read reviews saying people couldn't get their money back, so I didn't try. Times are tough, and I'd already paid. The floors were sticky and warped, the beds were horrible, and one bed frame had blood stains. The furniture and dresser were warped too. Moisture was peeling the paint, and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and in the floor corners. The room was dirty apart from the made beds. Hot water wasn't hot, and the small dirty towels were only good enough to step out onto. I wore shoes the whole time. The walls were nasty with nicotine even though we'd asked for a smoke-free room. The smell made the whole place feel wrong. I didn't bother checking breakfast because I didn't even want to stay, but we had already spent the money. The woman at the desk said our booked room wasn't available and switched us to another one. That wasn't really an issue, but it made no sense that the room we'd reserved was suddenly unavailable. She wasn't rude, exactly, but seemed to have an attitude. People working with the public could be more professional, friendly, and welcoming. This room is a health hazard, and I don't understand why they'd offer it to a guest they want to return.

This is the sorriest place I've ever stayed. The parking lot is torn up, and my room has such a strong mold smell I can't sleep at night. The towels and washcloths are nasty, and the bed covers stink of mold too. Water drips from the sink onto the floor. I spent $45 on cleaning supplies trying to get rid of the smell, but it didn't help. The furniture was so nasty we bought a throw just to sit on it. It's just horrible.

Prices were decent, but the laundry didn't work. The entrance road badly needs repairs.
