Teton Court Motel

The room was cozy and practical, and the beds were fine. Service was great, with everything conveniently close by, just a block off the main drag. But the hot water took nearly five minutes of running before it was even lukewarm, and the extra blankets smelled like they hadn't been washed in a while. It stayed noisy until 10 pm, so thank goodness for the posted quiet hours. We thought the price was a little high.

Several restaurants were an easy walk from the motel. There was no AC, though, and August days in the low 80s left the room warm. It cooled off in the evening, but I had to keep the windows open, and the parking lot was somewhat noisy.

We had a kitchenette, small dining table, and I think three queen beds in our room. We were five, but six could fit comfortably. For the price, the place was clean and put together well, and the room felt cozy, though it's no luxury hotel. The guy who showed us the room stayed an hour past closing so we could check in late. It was 38 degrees outside, and the room warmed from 62 to 74 in about 20 minutes. The only little drawbacks were no sink outside the bathroom and water that took a while to heat, though this was at 10:30 on a cold night. I just wish there were more to do nearby so we could have stayed longer. Teton is about an hour and a half away.

An older but well-kept motel, and a good budget stop on the way to Yellowstone. Everything worked and the internet was great. Without AC, cooling the room was difficult even in mild weather, so I'd skip it on warm days but return in the cooler months. Parking near the rooms is tight, although there's plenty of street parking close by.
