Rainbow's End Resort on Rainbow Lake

I’ve been renting a cabin here for over seven years, mostly the Maple, which is the best cabin ever. You can see water from every angle inside. The fishing is excellent, with 9-12 lb fish, and there are lots of water toys to rent. There’s also plenty of wildlife to watch. Chuck, the owner, is kind, generous, and very helpful.

The fish kept teasing us without biting, which was the only disappointment. Since it’s a fishing lodge, bring your own food, snacks, drinks, and toiletries, as we did. The area is beautiful, the accommodations are nice, and the staff were exceptional. We enjoyed watching the resident ducks and other wildlife. At the end of our stay, we were given an excellent fresh loaf of cinnamon bread.

The lake is so close, and that was the best part of this beautiful property. Our room was clean and had a full kitchenette and ice-cold AC. Staff were friendly all the way from boat rentals to helping us check in. We’d definitely come back 💕

My sister and I spent a weekend in the Oak cabin and really enjoyed it. The cabin was quaint and clean, with a lovely lake view, geese, and really clean picnic tables. For the price, it was well worth it, though the boat rental was too expensive for the one hour we wanted. The king bed was rock hard, and the bed in the entryway room was too warm. Its windows wouldn’t open, so I slept on the couch both nights. I also didn’t like the one-ply toilet paper, the lack of extra trash bags, or having just one kitchen towel.
