The people here are so welcoming, and the owners are amazing. For a KANAKA MAOLI FROM THE KNGDOM OF HAWAI'I, Eagle Valley feels like being up at MAUNA KEA when I need to get out of Vegas and reconnect with nature. The fresh air, weather, fishing, hiking, and views bring me real peace. I love it. Mahalo nui to EAGLE VALLEY & STAFF.
I only stayed one night, and I won't be back. The Big Guy seemed amused while assigning me an unacceptable, bogus spot for my 17 ft camper, even though there were better and easier spots available. When I asked for a propane tank, he ignored me despite my asking several times, and his attitude made me uncomfortable. This was early MARCH 2025, thank you. The real beauty is all outside this trailer park.
The saloon was a nice surprise, and the pool table was in good shape. The rooms were nice too, and we had perfect weather. A cool, scenic hidden spot for where it is.
We had a great time celebrating my niece's 25th birthday with karaoke. The music was good, the drinks were delicious, and we ended up enjoying the night with some lovely people we'd never met before. Every minute was fun.
Waking up for a sunrise walk with the local deer herd was better than I imagined, and sometimes there'd be a turkey or stray calf too. The cabins are lovely inside, with a kitchenette and dishes, plus a BBQ and fireplace just off the big front porch. My family slept wonderfully in the beds and pillows. Eagle Valley is quiet and private, with friendly people, and felt perfect for reconnecting with my family roots. Special thanks to the polite, accommodating staff, who made the whole trip smooth.
