The sunsets are gorgeous, and there are deer all over. It's a quiet, peaceful place, and Bandera is only a few miles away if you need supplies. The staff are very nice, and the hot tub is great. There's a pool too, but late January was too cold for swimming. The hot tub was perfect. This will be my go-to place from now on.

Elvira, the manager, was extremely friendly and accommodating, and our unit was the cleanest we've ever stayed in. It had retro decor that we liked, plenty of amenities, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, a large open living area, a private porch off the bedroom, and two TVs with a full range of channels. We exchanged our Virginia Beach, VA timeshare week and chose Perennial Vacation Club in Bandera, TX. We were glad we did. In the Texas Hill Country, the views are spectacular, and we nearly had the place to ourselves, almost like a retreat. We just missed the rodeos, which start Memorial Day weekend. Bandera, nicknamed the "Cowboy Capital of the World," has nice shops and good food at TJ's Bar & Grill, plus the biggest pancakes we've ever seen at the OST Restaurant. There are quaint towns nearby, and San Antonio is an hour away. The Alamo is one of its main attractions, and you can see the city on the On & Off Trolley or take a River Walk Tour. It was a great stay in a historic part of the country.
The views are spectacular, and it's usually cooler up in the Hill country than in the city. I stay in the one-bedroom, which is big and spacious. Just know that the two-bedroom, two-bath unit has a lot of stairs, and I mean a lot. I come back practically every year, usually for a girls trip. It's quiet and relaxed, and town is not far if you want shops and good people. Elvira and the staff are amazing, and I love the refreshing pool. I do wish the TVs were Smart TVs with apps. I always bring my fire stick. With maintenance fees going up, I think the mattresses should be upgraded too, and there should be more USB ports as technology advances. I highly recommend the property. I have to come back every year!
We had a lovely stay and would return in a heartbeat. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and the pool and views were beautiful. Watching all the wildlife, especially the deer, was fun.
If you're looking for somewhere to relax, this is a good spot. The location was quiet, restful, and beautiful, and we enjoyed seeing deer all over the property. Our unit was spacious, clean, and nicely updated.
