Don’t recommend it, even at half the price. The room was dated and smelly, and not especially clean. There were cigarette burn holes in the bedding, including the pillow covers. The old-style TV worked, but we got several insect bites while sleeping and couldn’t tell what kind of insect caused them. Check the room carefully before handing over your credit card. If it meets your standards, go ahead, but there are much nicer budget motels nearby.

I helped someone who’d run out of luck get a room here. It’s old and run down, but the staff are friendly and the other guests are mostly harmless. We were warned, for example, that the man claiming to be the property manager isn’t actually the manager. I wouldn’t pick it for a family vacation, but I could see staying there if I were down and out. When I went, the weekly rate was just under $200, which is feasibly affordable even on minimum wage.

After my house caught fire, my family and I needed an extended-stay motel. The room had no carpet, just bare concrete, and the beds looked like they were only there so the place could be called a room. The sink leaked and the TV was older than me. We had to put down a deposit for the second key and TV remote. The only good thing I can say is that the two staff members were friendly and courteous.

The rooms and bathrooms were dirty, with nasty walls and a dirty shower, and the water wasn’t very hot. They looked nothing like the photos, and the price changed. The staff were extremely rude. The older woman at the front desk was aggressive and hateful. When we asked for a cheaper room, she said no. I’m calling the health department and wouldn’t recommend staying here. We rented a room and left, then rented again the next night and got the same room. I’d had a tooth pulled and got blood on the pillowcase the first night. The next night the beds were made, but the blood was still there. They hadn’t cleaned it. We also saw two roaches and a bedbug.

For the price and location, I’m very satisfied. It’s quiet, and although the building is old and worn, it’s clean. There’s plenty of hot water and good pressure. The Wi-Fi signal could be stronger, but it’s consistent, and there’s cable rather than satellite. I’ve stayed here several times and will stay again.
