The resort has a great beachfront location, excellent facilities, and lovely rooms and views. The jacuzzi was very good and not overcrowded. Breakfast was cooked perfectly, and the evening drinks were excellent. We didn’t pay for the fire pits, though the experience looked great and pricey. Antonio, the busboy, Aiden, the server, and Marcus, the valet, gave excellent service. They were great guys and made us feel appreciated as customers. The costs were hard to swallow: $50 a day for valet parking and a $45 resort fee, adding up to about $100 in extra fees. I used Bonvoy points, and they recognized my lifetime titanium status, but I was still charged. As a member with status, we got breakfast vouchers for either a continental breakfast, a container of fruit and one of oatmeal, or $15 toward breakfast. With breakfast priced at $22-30 plus a drink, that credit doesn’t cover it, which was disappointing. The toilets are also very low. If you’re six feet tall, they feel like mini toilets and need upgrading. Nice location, great facility, and excellent staff, but overpriced. I could stay at Ko Olina (Oahu) for about the same price, and the daily fees would cover airfare.

They asked at the start whether we were celebrating anything, and when I said it was my 50th birthday, the staff went above and beyond. On Sunday evening, they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of chilled champagne and a charcuterie board. We enjoyed both while watching the beautiful beach views and an incredible sunset. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay more memorable. Vespera Hotel in Pismo Beach had a welcoming feel, a great vibe, and stunning ocean views. Perfect for relaxing and celebrating. I couldn’t have picked a better place for my birthday and would absolutely return. I’d highly recommend it for a special occasion or weekend away.

The service was excellent. The staff were helpful, welcoming, and attentive to our group’s needs. The beach views are spectacular, and it’s convenient to walk right to the beach and the shops in Pismo Beach. This Marriot Signature Hotel is a gem. I’ll definitely come back for a personal trip.

Marquis the bellman made the welcome at Vespera Resort especially warm. From the moment we arrived, he went out of his way to help us feel at home. He was polite, kind, and professional, helped with our luggage, walked us through check-in, and shared useful insights about the resort, all with a smile. That kind of care made the first few minutes seamless and positive, and started our vacation on the right foot. Vespera is a beautiful property, and Marquis is a real asset to the team.
