Abraham at the Front Desk made the biggest impression on me. I came to him with questions several times, and each time he went out of his way to help. I also watched him with guests and coworkers, and he was consistently exceptional: thoughtful in how he spoke to people, professional in appearance, warm, and good at following through. He really sets a high standard for customer service. Thanks, Abraham, and Marriott. The Bistro was another highlight. Izzy, Astrid, and Lily Rose were quick, friendly, and attentive, and I liked the food there. The hotel felt modern, recently remodeled, and very clean during my several nights. This was an impressive stay, and the service is what sets this location apart. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The staff were nice, and the rooms were good. Breakfast wasn't my thing, though. I prefer a buffet, not this Starbucks slop. Coming from someone of high caliber, I'd call it a fine establishment. I own ten hotels across Pennsylvania, and there's a lot this place could teach others.

We nearly passed on booking because of the 3.8 overall rating, but I'm glad we gave the hotel a chance. Everyone we met, from the front desk to the bar and housekeeping, was friendly and accommodating. Every area we saw was clean, and it's a convenient location for visiting Pitt. I don't post many reviews, but this business earned a good one. We'll definitely stay here again. Thanks to the staff for making our visit such a good one π

We came to Pittsburgh so I could take my mother to Presbyterian hospital for tests and procedures. This place showed up as nearby, and it really was. I had added some special accommodation requests to the reservation, but they couldn't make them work in one room. The staff quickly offered us an additional room at no charge so we could use both to meet our needs. That was the best hotel service we've ever had. The rooms were a decent size, clean, and smelled fresh. The only thing I'd pick at is that the restaurant is more like a bar with a few food choices. We arrived hungry and tired, so we ordered delivery from a local Chinese restaurant, which was delicious. It all worked out.
