The room itself had peeling wallpaper, an odd smell, a badly leaking tub, floors that hadn’t been vacuumed, and a refrigerator that didn’t work. The hall floors and elevators looked like housekeeping hadn’t touched them either. We were told on the phone that, although the hotel was under construction, the section we’d booked would be finished and brand new. It wasn’t, and we had to make our way through the construction site to reach our room. I knew work was happening, but I wouldn’t recommend staying until it’s all finished. Even then, I probably wouldn’t come back.

We stayed one night with two friends, but we all left early after getting headaches, sinus trouble, coughs, and sore lungs and throats from the dust and particles. The hotel is in heavy construction and didn’t seem safe to use. Our room was dusty and smelly, with wallpaper peeling throughout, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The hotel shouldn’t be open or renting rooms right now. One friend is on the way to the ER.

The beds are super comfy and the rooms are amazing. Great value if you want to support the Stillersss in this beautiful taaaawn. Some people seem unable to handle a bit of work while visiting a Blue Color taaawn, then write a bad recommendation about this beautiful place. I definitely don’t agree with those other Karens.

They handed me the key and warned me to watch my step. After I finally made it through the construction, I found a room that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests.
