The owner and house manager were both friendly and accommodating when I called with questions about policies and security codes. Breakfast was included and available 24/7 in the room next door, with cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and coffee. I stayed in the East View room during a college trip to Chatham University. Its Physicians Assistant campus is literally a three-minute walk down the road. The room was smaller than I expected, but it fit my fiancé and me comfortably. The ceiling was low, so we had to watch our heads getting up in the morning.

I like that the place keeps its old Victorian feel while having modern amenities. The shower has a cool shape and gets really hot, which is exactly how I like it, hot enough to turn my skin red. There's a TV, mini fridge, kpod, coffee, and a latte machine too. I'm not a fancy guy and I'm easily satisfied, but there's not much else I'd ask for. Totally loving this place.

My truck broke down nearby, so I got a room at the last minute. The owner was really nice and accommodating, and the room was great. It cost considerably less than the nearby hotels, which were booked up.

The house is split into bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and we had access to a Keurig that made the morning better. I stayed for one night in Pittsburg. It may seem a little sketchy, but it was genuinely nicer than many motels I've stayed in on my road trip. Strongly recommend it as a cheaper place near pittsburg.

We had a fantastic host, and the rates were affordable. The accommodations were excellent too. Point Breeze Guest House is a great place to stay in Pittsburgh!
