Wyndham Garden Pittsburgh Airport

The hotel is nicely secluded, and I’m grateful we had somewhere to stay, but there were problems throughout. We were charged an extra $50 even though the online price said that was what we’d pay. When my key stopped working, nobody was at the front desk for about 30 minutes. The breakfast was very basic, and we found garbage in a drawer along with an old key card. The mini fridge and phone didn’t work, and the shower curtain had stains that looked like it hadn’t been washed in a while. On the stairs down, the day we checked out, it smelled like urine. While packing, we also found a bag of old, moldy food in a cabinet. The hotel responded after I posted this, but I stand by my review. My partner made the reservation, not me, and I have photos I can upload too.

We left without a room, but were still charged. I booked through Priceline for August 2025, and the hotel said third-party reservations weren’t guaranteed because Wyndham members came first. Priceline took its time, saying it was waiting to hear from the hotel, and by the time it replied, disputing the charge was no longer an option. When I asked for proof that I’d stayed, they gave me a random room number. The manager wouldn’t budge, even after checking and seeing the card wasn’t ours. I’m still waiting for the receipt and ID they said they’d provide. After I posted, I got a response on January 27. Now they claim someone named Garima stayed there, which seems wild to me since that name isn’t common in the USA. There are no signed documents, video, or other proof. I never sign the documents, my husband does, and I booked with my brother’s card, but they’re saying it was mine. They can’t show my DL or credit card. I guess they’ll keep digging. Think twice before booking.

Kelsea made check-in a breeze. She was so helpful, easily the best hotel service I’ve had in many years, maybe ever. I’d definitely stay here again, and the other guest with me got that great service too.

The bathroom floors were disgusting, and the place was dirtier than a Motel 6. For an airport hotel, that’s ridiculous. Tear it down, rebuild it, and get new management. Then maybe. On my November 14, 2025 stay, there was no hotel shuttle, which should’ve been the first warning. I asked the front desk employee whether rooms had refrigerators, and she said she didn’t know. I had fresh food and asked if there was a freezer in back for my ice packs. Again, she didn’t know. The room did have a refrigerator, though no freezer. When I told her, she took my ice packs and said there was a freezer in back. At 6 a.m. nobody was at the desk. A sign said someone was helping another guest, so I waited 20 minutes and nobody came. I’m a pilot and had to leave for the airport without my ice packs, which means all my food for the next four days will have to be thrown away. There wasn’t any breakfast or coffee either. What a joke.
