Comfort Inn Plainwell

We picked this place for a Christmas sledding and tubing trip instead of buying my sister and nephews presents. Echo Valley was close by for our tubing day, and the staff were kind and accommodating. The room was clean, the beds were high but comfortable, and breakfast was great. The pool area felt cold after a pump repair, since it takes time for all that water to heat up again, but the kids didn’t mind at all. The pet policy was great, too. I’d absolutely stay here again.

I’ve stayed in hotels since I was 8, and I’m pretty picky, so I was impressed by how much care the staff put into this inexpensive place. They work well together and keep the property lovely, and the daily breakfast was wonderful. The pool was warm enough to enjoy without getting cold, and the hot tub was actually hot, not lukewarm. From the gentleman at the front desk to the young ladies in housekeeping, everyone made this a truly lovely stay. The rooms were great, too. I’ll definitely be back.

Laura the manager, Sam and Jay at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The customer service from the whole staff was amazing. Our room was huge and very clean, and Rhonda, Dawn and the housekeeping team keep the hotel spotless. Highly recommend.
