Holiday Inn Express Suites Plant City by IHG

The room had recently been renovated, which was a nice surprise. The staff were great, and this was a major step up from the sketchy La Quinta in Tampa I had originally planned to use. I stayed a couple of days and would definitely come back.

We spent one night in Plant City before our cruise out of Tampa. Lorry gave us a friendly, helpful welcome. Renovations are underway, so parking was a bit limited. Breakfast was decent, and we'd consider staying again, though I hope they get the slow elevator looked at.

Lorry was so friendly, and the hotel felt clean, convenient, and welcoming. I had a restful night, enjoyed the breakfast, and would gladly come back. Highly recommend it.

I haven't stayed in the room yet, so I can't comment on the room or breakfast, but Aaron's help has put this location at the top of my list. We had to cancel our anniversary trip the morning of because one of our toddlers woke up with stomach flu. We were past the 24-hour cancellation window, and even without prepaying, they would typically charge for a late cancellation. The front desk woman was polite, checked with her manager, and said they'd see what they could do. About an hour later, the manager called and canceled the stay with no penalty. I believe his name was Aaron, and he was so kind. I already enjoy Holiday Inn Expresses and have stayed at several around the country. I'll definitely stay at this one in the future, and update my review once I can speak to the room and breakfast. Good customer service feels rare lately, so it was a relief to talk with people who seemed to care. Thanks, Aaron!
