Being so near the lake was a plus, and the rates were reasonable. The place was quiet and very clean. I enjoyed staying here and would happily come back.

I spent 9 days here while my truck was being worked on. The owners of Dakota Country Inn were really nice, and they do a great job looking after the place. My room was very clean, the bed was nice, and the service was top notch. A well-kept motel, highly recommend! 💯💥💥💥💥💥

On my November 2023 visit, I slept comfortably, though the bathtub drain in room 24 was very slow. I told the girl with the cleaning cart that morning. The room was clean and comfortable, the owner seemed like a nice guy, and the breakfast items were okay for a small hotel.

We got stuck in Platte after the storm shut I 90 for 5 days and our attempt to detour on highway 44 also left us stranded. Luckily this hotel was there and welcomed pets, and the staff were so accommodating. The rooms were very, very clean, with lots of channel choices on the television. It felt family friendly and dog friendly, and we even went out to play in the snow. We highly recommend it!
