Super 8 Plattsburgh

I’ve never been treated like this in my life. The first two rooms had card keys that wouldn’t unlock the doors, and the third room was okay until I went out for the day. When I came back, the key didn’t work. At the desk, they told me they’d moved my room and I was at the wrong one. They’d packed my things and moved them without telling me. Then they put me in another room where the card key still didn’t work, so I had to get staff every time I wanted to enter. Worst motel I’ve ever stayed in.

The pool was open only from 3 to 9, and the doors were open. The water felt like it had to be 40 degrees, so we couldn’t even get in. It wasn’t heated. The breakfast bar had only dry cereal and a waffle maker, no eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, or anything else, just a jug of watered-down orange juice. The rooms were dirty and the sheets were stained. This is the most disgusting hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Find somewhere else and don’t waste your money.

The free breakfast was stale bread and muffins with ice-cold coffee. There was no heat and the toilet was broken, and when we asked for extra blankets, the front desk offered one. The worst place I’ve ever booked on Expedia, and the worst place to visit in Plattsburgh.

The room was clean and comfortable, with lots of clean sheets and towels and no stains on them. The A/C worked really well too. The microwave and mini fridge didn’t work. The pool water was green and unclear, so we didn’t use it and didn’t want to take the chance.
