Hampton Inn Pleasant View, TN

James helped me check in on both visits, and he was genuinely nice, helpful, and quick to make sure I had what I needed. If he doesn’t love the job, he sure acts like he does. I hope management values him as much as guests do. I first stayed a night while passing through on a road trip, liked it enough to book here again on my way back, and had a pretty good stay both times. The facilities seemed clean and well cared for. The rooms are decent for the price, and the mattresses were some of the best I’ve found in a hotel.

The first stop on our move across the country, after driving all day, turned out to be a real relief. We were facing a 25-plus hours trip, and after a bad check-in problem at Hampton Inn Ashland City, 15 mins from here, I needed a room at the last minute, after 10PM. They had made an error with my original reservation, but the night auditor at Pleasant View got me checked in fast using my Booking.com reservation and was kind and accommodating. I wish I could remember his name. At checkout, the assistant front desk manager watched our luggage while I got my dog (and cat) settled back in the car. The whole checkout went great. Thank you Pleasant View for the kindness and hospitality. It made a big difference after the trouble at the other Hampton Inn. If I could do it over, knowing what I know now, I would have booked here from the start.

We stopped here on the way to Florida and had a good stay. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included and good, and the price was reasonable. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

James made the whole week feel manageable with his positive attitude and the help he gave me. He was kind, personable, and professional from the moment I arrived, and even when things got busy he stayed calm and made each interaction welcoming. It’s unusual to meet someone who cares so much about guests. His hospitality went above and beyond, and I honestly don’t think I’d have made it through the week without his help. If you stay here, I hope you meet James. He’s the best dressed in town and a real asset to the hotel.
