Our second-floor efficiency was in the right location for us, and the car felt safe overnight. The room was cleaner than we expected after seeing the decor, but that was about it. At night, one young man was left to handle check-ins alone while someone who seemed to be a manager watched the line build without helping. The walls are paper thin, and we barely slept with a crying baby, its parents, and sirens nearby. The shower has a high step and an odd curtain that wraps all the way around, so it may not work for older guests or people with disabilities. Of the four places we stayed in December, this was the worst and one of the priciest. They also hold a $200 damage deposit that takes nearly a week to disappear from your card. At about half the price, it might have been worth it.

The toilet was clogged, and there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. I could hear voices and the TV through the connecting door. The sofa bed sat right across the closet, blocking the useful half with the clothes rod unless I moved it. This facility is also part of the Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare. At night, the office entrance is hard to find and completely dark. You can't just arrive and rent at the front desk, you have to reserve and pay online, and the total includes a mandatory resort fee that isn't advertised.

The rooms felt a little dated, though they were comfortable and very clean. Staff were helpful at check-in and did what they could to make the stay enjoyable. We'd definitely come back.

The beds were comfortable and the in-room coffee tasted good. We came for a getaway and the location worked for that. The pool was cold, but it was December, and there wasn't a jacuzzi.

We spent a week at the Villas. Check-in was easy, and the rooms were spotless with everything we needed. It's a bit away from the attractions, which suited us, and there are essential shops nearby.
