Rose Stone Inn

The woman at the front desk was very polite, along with her cat and dog and the many family members in the lobby. The room, though, was nothing like the photos. It was run-down, dirty, and honestly scary, more like a flop house. The old full-size bed had stained sheets and a stained bedspread, there were burns in the carpet, and the only mismatched furniture was a kitchen chair in the corner. Food bits were left under the TV stand, with hair ties still on the headboard. I barely looked in the restroom, but noticed there was no toilet paper. Wouldn't recommend it.

I picked this hotel for its location, and I liked having Roku TV access, which I haven't seen elsewhere. Still, there was no microwave, no pop machines, and we had to ask before getting towels. The pillows were uncomfortable, the chair had no cushion, and the remote was missing its back. Very disappointing.

If you're used to being pampered, this probably isn't your spot. It has more of a fellow trudger kind of feel, but you might learn something new about yourself and other people. An amazing, eclectic place, and an out-of-the-ordinary night here is worth considering if the price is okay. Catch y'all on the flipside.......J.T. Nelson

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There was still garbage from the previous guest when I walked into my room, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Then bedbugs woke me in the middle of the night, leaving bites all over my arm, neck, and back. This place was horrible. I wish I could give it no stars.
