We booked at the last minute while trying to get away from the weather in Des Monies. Joel was on the check-in desk and welcomed us with a huge smile. He asked about our travels and seemed to genuinely care, made check-in easy, asked about room preferences, and wished us a good night’s rest. After we unloaded the car, I saw him helping another guest and offering to do whatever he could to make their stay good. He’s a wonderful person to have at the front desk. Please pass along my best wishes and give him a raise. He deserves recognition for his customer service.

I’m a Marriott fan because their basic level and service are usually excellent. Here, the room was spotless, even under my mini black-light check, and was decently appointed. The staff were great too. My one issue was the bathroom. The shower stopper didn’t work, so the drain wouldn’t stay open. The toilet was running when I arrived and I had to shake the handle. It also didn’t flush with much force. Everything did work, though.

A clean, pleasant room and really friendly service. It’s just right for business travelers who need somewhere nice to shower and sleep. There isn’t much right nearby, but Edwardsville is close, and food delivery in the area is pretty good.

My husband needed somewhere to sleep after working 16-hour days when another local hotel had a mishap with his stay. Keith from Fairfield helped find him a room. I’m very thankful for Keith’s help.

The service here was the standout, and the hotel was spotless and carefully maintained from the moment we arrived. It’s simple, with a calm, relaxing feel, but delivers a great stay. I’d definitely recommend it.
