Holiday Inn & Suites Savannah Airport - Pooler by IHG

The bar and its service were great, and the bartender was sweet and welcoming. The lobby and rooms looked spotless and smelled lovely, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I travel for work and stay in hotels a lot, so I didn't think the $14.99 breakfast add-on was worth it. It was the same basic spread other hotels offer for free, with liquid eggs, paper-thin bacon, rock-hard biscuits, and canned gravy. Nothing special. If you want a clean place with friendly service and a good bar, you'll be pleased.

We chose this hotel at the last minute while traveling on I-95, and the front desk staff were wonderful and helpful. The location is right by the interstate, quiet, and surrounded by good shopping and plenty of restaurants. Our room had lots of space and a very comfortable bed. There’s also a bar with TVs and a food menu, so since we were tired, we stayed in for the evening instead of going out. We'd definitely stay again on another trip.

The morning attendant was kind and apologized for the hassle, then gave us a $30 discount. That was the only saving grace. I'd called to check for rooms, got transferred to the booking line, and they confirmed a king room and offered a rollaway. I booked over the phone, and at check-in they again said they'd bring one. I stayed awake until midnight waiting, but it never arrived. There are a hundred hotels in the area, and we would have happily stayed elsewhere if this Holiday Inn couldn't accommodate us. What a scam. This place sucks.

The room was filthy and smelled awful. The bathroom smelled like someone had just taken a hot poop, and the rest of the room was musty. After a long drive, we got in at midnight and found the pullout bed covered in stains, with no sheets or blankets anywhere. I really didn't want to spend 40 minutes waiting in the lobby at that hour for someone to bring me sheets and a pillow.
