Super 8 by Wyndham Port Angeles at Olympic National Park Hotel

The breakfast was actually why I booked, since the website and the person at the 800 reservation number both described it as hot. But during my four-night stay they only had coffee, tea, juice, and one kind of granola bar, which was disappointing. The guest laundry came in handy for a stay that long. The location was decent, with restaurants within walking distance and a golf course in a nice residential area along the road behind the hotel, where I went for morning walks. I'd stay again.

The staff were helpful and friendly, parking was easy to find, and everything we wanted to do seemed only minutes away. My son and I stayed three nights without any issues. The room and bathroom were clean and well kept, even the toilet paper was reasonably nice. We both slept well in the very comfortable beds. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The night receptionist was great, and the room was dated. I'd stayed here several times without trouble and paid the usual $150 deposit. We cleaned up as always to make housekeeping's job easier: stripped the bed, took the trash bags out of the cans, and tied them shut. This time they required a cash deposit and refused to return it, claiming the room smelled of smoke and that they'd found cigarette butts in the trash. We hadn't smoked at all, always left a window open for fresh air, and had emptied the cans ourselves to lighten the staff's load. I was very disappointed to be accused like that and lose our money. I probably won't come back. From now on, I'll take before and after photos of every room I rent.

The staff were nice, the rooms were very clean, and checking in was one of the smoothest experiences I've had in a long time. It's a great hotel, convenient to everything nearby. I highly recommend it for a stay with friends, family, or whoever you're traveling with.
