We’ve brought a group of 60-plus to the Port A Beach Clubhouses for the same five-day July weekend for four years. The former local management company was great and cared about the community and keeping the Port A experience top notch. In 2021 we paid in advance for all four clubhouses, then learned two were “double booked” just weeks before the trip. The two we still had were in terrible shape: broken appliances, dirty pools, poor communication, and critter droppings. We gave the new management company another chance and booked again this year, but three weeks before the trip they told us three had once again been “double booked.” We’re still waiting for our refund. The new company is a joke, and these once welcoming homes have quickly become a dumpster fire. Good luck.

We were a group of more than 20, including kids, and there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The staff helped make sure we were comfortable. It’s family friendly, with a TT table, shuffle board, patio, and pool to keep people busy when it’s too hot outside.
There was loads of space and plenty to do indoors and outside, so it worked well for a group and appealed to all ages. The amenities were great. I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the pool light at night, but I don’t think that was their fault. I was trying to find it in the dark!
Our family reunion group has stayed at Port A Beach Club for at least five years. The property works well for a large group and used to be very well maintained under Port A Escapes. It even came through hurricanes when many other places didn’t. At Beach Club 2, we arrived to a cloudy green pool, and there was no WiFi. They sent a pleasant young man after I called the new management company, but he couldn’t fix it. They said someone would return at 8 the next morning and then nobody showed. WiFi matters here because all the TVs use Roku. The second-floor deck looked structurally unstable, sagging in the middle, and it seemed the management company had locked the door instead of repairing it. The AC drip pan also overflowed onto the floor. I called about that too, and thankfully it was fixed fairly quickly. Prices have risen a lot while maintenance quality has dropped. The management change happened in the last year, so keep in mind the five-star reviews are for the previous company, not the current one.
A clean place with a full kitchen, good for a family or friends’ vacation. Each condo has its own pool.
