Beach Home Sea Gypsy in Ocean Village by Redawning

Mermaid Cove PA #28 is a fun, relaxing place for family or friends, and the beach is an easy walk of less than half a mile. Fishing fans can use the backyard walkout pond, which is currently stocked with catfish for catch and release. Inside, there are four bedrooms, including comfortable king mattresses in three rooms and a bunk room for the kids. The 3 1/2 baths make it easy to handle a crowd. There's a full kitchen with an island where people can hang out while meals are being made, plus an open living, dining, and sitting area. Amenities also include a full-size stacked washer and dryer, a downstairs patio, and an upstairs deck. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The outdoor tiki area was a favorite, and #34 has good parking space for both a car and a golf cart. The house was clean, with a kitchen full of cooking appliances and dishes, and it's very close to the beach. We really needed a four-bedroom place, though, and had to make this one work.

They've thought of everything in these brand new units, even board games for a rainy beach vacation. The decor is beautiful, and there's plenty of room. Each unit has front and back balconies and two parking stalls. Personal golf carts make getting to the beach easy. The facilities are very nicely done.

We loved the place: it's beautiful, spacious, and in a great location. The cleanliness was disappointing, though. There was food, including Goldfish and Oreo cookies, in several spots, reading glasses tucked among the pillows on one bed, and general dust and dirt around.
