Beach View Estates Upstairs BVEU146

The place was clean, but it felt run down and needs repairs and updates. We stayed two nights, 5/31-6/2/2023. The walls had cheap flat paint, marks and baseboard scuffs, and some spots where chunks of sheet rock were missing. The furniture looked cheap too, and the beds weren't very comfortable. The pots, pans, and dishes seemed like garage sale finds, just like the furnishings. The oven's bottom tray was off its track and we couldn't get it back on. The GFC plug blew, and we couldn't find the reset; the garbage disposal didn't work; and the dining table had a wobbly leg. Housekeepers came in while we were out, even though we weren't due to check out until that day and they knew we were still there. My grandson contacted the host twice. He responded quickly, but asked me to wait to post this until after checkout. I've stayed in Airbnbs before, and this was the worst condition I've seen from a Superhost. I hate leaving a rating like this, but people should know. I hope the host fixes most of these problems.
