Newly Built, Pool, Walk to Old Town Eats+marina Shorely Goodness by Avantstay

We’ve stayed three times, in #15, #17, and #9, and they’ve all been alike: clean condos with a beach theme. The beds, pillows, and sheets are amazing, and I sleep so well here. The golf cart included with the stay is a big plus, and the pool gives the kids extra time to swim. The kitchen doesn’t come stocked with much extra, and the pots and pans really need an upgrade, so we bring our own. We really enjoy staying here.

We’d come back to these cottages. They’re a great size, clean, and conveniently located in town, and the beds were comfortable. The parking lot light above the bedroom windows was too bright, and the dryer didn’t work well, but those were our only complaints.

The cottage itself was very clean, and we loved having the golf cart, but this was our second and last stay. Both visits had no bedroom electricity and no TV. The door handle was broken, and it took us 15 minutes to get inside. The pool had no lights, so it was dark and scary. Small children were swimming unsupervised in water we couldn’t see, which felt very dangerous. There were also no outside lights by the door or car, either burned out or without power. The door lock needs to be a top maintenance priority. No electricity and no TV, never again.

The rooms were clean and bright, with comfortable beds, and the accommodations were very nice. But none of the sheets fit the beds, the bathroom barn door came off easily, and the pool always looked cloudy, like it needed shock. Parking was a serious problem. With more than one car and one golf cart, guests’ cars could be towed. They also didn’t provide a hair dryer.
