The Dunes Condominiums

A welcome break from the Texas heat, with clean, new accommodations and a comforting interior design. The beach views in Port Aransas are the best.

You can walk to the beach, and the shops and restaurants are a short drive away by car or golf cart. There’s safe, free parking on site, and the condos are super clean with well kept grounds. The private patios have great views. For a change from the beach, there's a big pool and hot tub. The office is on site and available to help 24 hours if needed. It’s hard to imagine a better getaway package. Go enjoy the Dunes!

Such a cute, clean place, and everyone was really friendly. You can walk to the pier and beach, and it has everything you need for a perfect getaway. It's huge, too! The listing says it fits only four, but I could easily see ten people sleeping here, lol. The beds and rooms are massive.

We visited in May and paid about $300 a night for a Sunday to Thursday stay. Room 704 was nicely decorated, with beautiful rooms, great views, and friendly, helpful staff. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The Dunes condos are right on the beach, in a great spot near restaurants and a grocery store, and only blocks from parasailing and dolphin tours. The downside during that stay was construction at the pier next door, with beeping from lifts and work vehicles during the expansion. Renovations were also still happening in various condos after the property reopened in January 2021 following hurricane Harvey, though hopefully that will all be finished soon. Several condos were for sale, from regular units at $450,000 to the penthouse at a million. The wifi in 704 was incredibly slow. On a quick weekend visit in June 2025, we stayed in 709 and enjoyed the room, location, and great view.
