Beware, we did not enjoy our stay at Villa Reel. Avant had to come out because the A/C wasn’t working efficiently, and the house was very warm. The vents were moldy. They told us it was just dirt, but my husband has asthma either way. When my daughter put her toddler to bed, she found hairs on the sheet. Gross. Neighbors’ trash was left outside, and our house had no cans. They brought one, though we should have had two, and it was already half full. The grill was so dirty we wouldn’t use it. One night we noticed that two first-floor windows had broken locks, so someone could have gotten in. The washer also needs replacing because there’s black gunk on the front door seal. Would you consider any of this acceptable for $3,800 for the week? We felt taken.

It’s a well-appointed place, but there’s no maintenance. Staying here was really annoying because the A/C didn’t work.

One of the best beach house stays I’ve had. I’ll be back soon.
