Beachfront Resort

I’d been a little unsure after reading some reviews, but we had a great time. The beach was lovely and quiet, and Docks was an easy walk away. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the jacuzzi tub, too. Such a cute, beachy place.

The view was amazing, and our room was nice. We came over Easter in the off season, so the hotel wasn’t fully open yet. Docks, one of our favorite restaurants, shares a private beach with the hotel, but it hadn’t opened for the season. There’s a newer deck and a sitting area with a grass roof. Wi-Fi was the main problem, it kept cutting out.

We spent a lot of time on the balcony just taking in the view. The room was lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here.

The room was clean and had a jacuzzi tub, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer. There wasn’t an iron or ironing board. We liked warming up in the tub after being at the beach, which was right by this cozy little spot on the lake. There’s a restaurant next door, too. The rooms are cute and nicely decorated, though you can tell the building is older. It’s no five-star resort, but we had a really nice weekend getaway. One thing to keep in mind, we were on the first floor and could hear the kids upstairs walking, jumping, and running around. We didn’t hear the neighbors beside us. If stairs are manageable for you, I’d ask for a second-floor room.
