The website mentioned a remodel, and for under $100 I'd stay here again. The front desk guy was extremely friendly. I got nervous heading down the very dated hallway, but the room was a pleasant surprise: clean, with a big TV and DIRECTV, a microwave, and a decent mini fridge. It looked recently renovated. There were repaired holes in the bedroom wall from the work, but they didn't affect our stay. We were here for two nights in April. The price was good, and the location wasn't bad, though the hotel's photo online doesn't look much like the actual place.

The front desk staff were nice, and the beds were okay, but the rooms smelled musty. We saw stains on the walls and bugs on the walls and sink, and the walls are very thin. The hotel is quite dated and doesn't look anything like the pictures. We also never found out when breakfast was served, and what we did see of it looked subpar.

I paid $200, and the stay wasn't worth even $50. The room had floor stains, the AC was broken all night, and the bathroom was cramped and uncomfortable. The whole property felt like an old building with cramped cabins, not a proper hotel. This was one of my worst hotel stays. I didn't enjoy it and absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

We went to visit the islands, and the ferries were a quick drive away. I stayed three nights in early June 2023 with my son, before the busy season started. It was quiet then, with only a few other guests, so I can't say how peaceful it is during peak season. The place was comfortable and very clean, and the people were friendly. There's a new owner who has really cleaned things up, so ignore the older reviews.

The photos don't match the hotel as it is now, and we won't stay here again. We got a handicap room we didn't need, with only a shower and one head mounted about four feet high, which was too low for my husband, who's over six feet tall. The temperature and flow handle was coming off, and the shower curtain was moldy. The beds were comfortable, but the bedding was one sheet, a used blanket, and a coverlet. I asked whether blankets get changed between guests and should've left it alone. The front desk man was honest: they wash them once a week, don't have enough to track which beds have been done and when. That was gross. Plenty of hotels may skip some bedding, but at least some put the blanket between two sheets. I bring my own now. I threw the provided blankets on the floor, and worry they'll just pick them up and use them for the next guest. Breakfast was basically nonexistent, with just four single-serve cereal boxes and one pack of mini donuts for the whole hotel. There was no waffle maker as pictured. We were up early, but breakfast wasn't available until sometime after 7 a.m., not good if you have to work that day. We visit the area twice a year, but won't be back here.
