Poulsbo Inn & Suites

The owners have done a good job keeping this older place clean and in good shape. The rooms were comfortable and I liked the bagels. It's a great clean stay for the price. Nice work keeping it going.

We were in Poulsbo for a friend's wedding and chose the Poulsbo Inn because it was near the venue. The town is charming, right on Liberty Bay. The rates were reasonable, the place was quiet and clean, and the bed was comfortable. There's a coffee maker in the room and a good value continental breakfast with assorted bagels and cream cheese, juice, milk, coffee, tea, and cocoa. Showtime and local cable are included, and there are fast food places and restaurants nearby. Cute little and big gnomes are all around the property. I'd stay here again!

For an overnight stop, this older but clean hotel would be alright. Our weekend stay missed the mark, though, because we wanted a room to relax, nap, and get a good night's sleep away from home. The bathroom was tiny, including the toilets, and using it all weekend was extremely uncomfortable. I was personally grossed out that the beds still had comforters. There was no lounge chair, just a desk chair and the bed, which wasn't comfortable to sit on. The cable package was bare minimum, with no movie channels at all, only repetitive shows on a non-smart TV without streaming.

I called to ask about a room after traffic and travel delays. The older woman working that Saturday was rude on the phone and took my credit card and personal information. When we arrived, she was still rude, didn't even say hello, and didn't seem to care when I reminded her we'd just spoken. We were from out of state, so she needed several IDs to match. I won't stay here again or recommend the place. The front desk was rude and disrespectful.
