Budget Inn of Claypool Hill

I found roaches in the room, then got locked out for more than 2 hours. There was no management around at all. Really sad. Do better 😡 I definitely don't recommend this motel.

We needed a place at the last minute after my uncle passed away, and since every hotel was full, we booked this room for 2 nights. Check-in was simple, the parking lot was easy to get to, and the people were nice. The room was tidy, with a small fridge that kept our things cold, and we got fresh towels for day two. The AC worked well and the water pressure was good. We don't smoke, though, and the smoke from other guests was noticeable in the hallway. Aside from that, we got an enjoyable rest. There was fast food nearby, and a coffee pot by the desk.

The room and bathroom were filthy, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We came to Cedar Bluff because of a death in the family and stayed just 1 night. The parking lot hadn't been plowed, and nothing had been shoveled. I had nowhere to take my little dog to pee, and nearly broke my neck getting inside. They charged a 30.00 pet fee, but there were no nice amenities. I had to ask for a blow dryer, and she insisted I return it right away. Ugh, not even 1 star from me. Totally disgusting 😡😡😡🤬🤬

Miss Jane and Monica are really nice people, and I'd stay here anytime I'm in the area. At first, after staying at budget in in Milam tn, I was worried, but the room impressed me once we checked in. The owner and her work was very respectful and nice. It's quiet, and she let us BBQ and play music as long as we kept the volume low. The room was cleaned every day, and she'd greet us with a smile when we came back from work or whatever brought us there. Both of them were always available to help if we needed anything. Thanks y'all for making the stay comfortable and welcoming.
