Ramada by Wyndham San Diego Poway Miramar

The grounds are beautiful, and the staff are very nice and accommodating. The AC stays consistent, and the bed is clean and comfortable. Its metal base makes a slight noise if I get on or off near the middle of the edge.

We've gone two full days without hot water in room 114, and we can't wash ourselves or our brand new 6 month old. Staff said twice that the water was fixed, but it still runs cold. After an argument with Roseria at the front desk over a simple room change, they moved us to another room, and its water was cold too. The staff have been extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked for a refund, they said the only manager who could approve one was on vacation, wasn't there, and couldn't be reached. I don't recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to, as a last resort.

We followed what the staff told us to do: notify the front desk 24 hours before checkout. After staying two nights, we checked out properly, returned the keys, and left. The representative at checkout explicitly said the manager would refund the remaining unused nights. We'd contacted customer service right after checking in to cancel the rest of our stay and move to another hotel. The refund never came, despite our following the instructions and relying on what staff promised. This reflects poor management, little accountability, and customer service well below what I expect from the Ramada / Wyndham brand. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're ready to fight for what staff tell you verbally.

There are shops nearby and food within walking distance or available for delivery. The staff were really helpful, the rooms meticulously clean, and the continental breakfast was great. It's a hidden gem amid busy Poway. Highly recommend it if you need to stay close to loved ones at Pomerafo Hospital.
