The beds were the worst part. The old box springs had deep dips from past guests, leaving you lying in a rut and on a slant. My back hurt, and I couldn't lie flat. At $104 a night for a last-minute booking, the price wasn't terrible, but for this quality I'd expect closer to $80. We would've stayed at the Waterfront, which wasn't much more, but it was full. This is better than the nearby motels, though not a great hotel. Wyndham can do better. There were also thin walls, so we heard conversations and every little movement next door, including a loud family late at night. Freight trains and traffic were noisy too, and you could actually see the water shake when a train went by. The rooms were dirty and old, with strange smells and harsh bright white LED lights that made it feel like a dingy hospital room. The lobby and breakfast area seemed sketchy.

We had four rooms for our group. They were clean, and the kids liked the indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was standard, with scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles, bagels and cereal. No other complaints, though the outside of the hotel is overdue for a pressure wash.

The pool was okay, nothing special, but the front desk lady was rude and snotty. Housekeeping had left tiny hairs in the bathroom. I found a hair in the bagels and mentioned it to her. She just said "oh" and didn't check, replace them or offer a fresh bagel. The guest WiFi password didn't work either. When I told her, she said I was supposed to call the number in the binder so they could connect me without it. Not impressed, and I wouldn't come back.

We booked through a third party, which turned out to be a mistake. Because it was a cheap hotel, they said they couldn't help us with a refund, and at first they claimed we hadn't reported that the room was unclean. We have photos and videos, and a month later the front desk workers acknowledged the conversation. They still wouldn't agree to a refund. The room was filthy. The floors hadn't been cleaned in a long time, there was mold in the bathroom and tub, and the tub was cracked with a hole in it. The carpet was stained and smelled. We were told there were no other rooms because they were booked, so we had to clean the room ourselves. It was probably the cleanest it had been in a long time after we finished. I suspect all the rooms were just as filthy. I wish I could post the pictures here so others could see. Look for somewhere else to stay.
