Hassayampa Inn

The Arizona room looked beautiful, and the food was delicious with generous portions. We got so many compliments about our rehearsal dinner venue. Amore and all the Hassayampa staff were incredible to work with, with great attention to detail and excellent communication. The dinner staff and bartender were friendly and accommodating, and the decorations they provided fit our theme perfectly. It was the perfect place for our rehearsal dinner, and we'd definitely recommend it for weddings too.

For a swanky place, I expected the food to be better. It was bland and average, with no seasoning, and I kept wondering whether it was worth the bill. On Valentine's Day, we saw server Nolan (I think) fill out his own comment card, giving himself all five stars, which we found pretty amusing. It was busy, I get that they had food to push out, but the place didn't live up to expectations. My wife's drink was taken away and didn't come back until she'd finished eating. Not terrible, not good. We'll try somewhere else next time. Give it a try if you want, but our experience fell short.

The old elevator is part of the fun here, with its manual operation and the stairs between levels. Since the hotel dates to the 1920s, expect a beautiful antique building, not the Biltmore. For me, it’s even better, like stepping back in time. The front desk team, including Karen, Tara, Dillon & crew, always greet you with a smile and work hard to make your stay great. We come back at least four times a year, and the Inn is lovely in every season. At Christmas, it adds to Prescott’s Christmas City feeling, and the place has a magical, seasonal charm. The evening local entertainment and the lounge make it easy to unwind after exploring Prescott. Huck brings a lot to the bar and lounge, where the happy hour drinks and appetizers are hard to beat. The dining room is worth trying too, and don’t miss breakfast, especially the unforgettable lemon ricotta pancakes. The building is gorgeous and full of history. The Spanish tile, high ceilings, beams, and huge fireplace in the lobby make a striking first impression. The front desk staff go out of their way to make a stay here a really positive experience.
