The Grand Highland Hotel

We’ve stayed at the Grand Highland twice for our anniversary, and it still never disappoints. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the staff are always top notch. The first time we had the Capitol Suite, which is my favorite, and most recently we stayed in the Grand Highland room overlooking Whiskey Row and the courthouse. Both were incredible. Being right above the bars and restaurants is hard to beat, and we’re making this an anniversary tradition.

Last year, my friends and I celebrated New Year’s at the Grand Highland Hotel Black Tie event, and it was magical. Intimate, special, celebratory, and just plain fun. The music and entertainment kept the party going, the food was amazing, especially the special desserts, and a couple of drinks were included. Every detail felt well done, with seamless service and no lines or waiting. We went outside for both boot drops, at 10 p.m. and midnight, and raised champagne toasts while the plaza sparkled around us. Best of all were the people at our table. We laughed, danced, and celebrated like old friends from the first toast. Table 7 rules! Fingers crossed we’re seated together again this year. If you want a classy, cozy, joyful New Year’s Eve, get tickets. You’ll start the year with a night to remember, and maybe some new friends too 🥂🎉

The wedding happening during our stay was such a fun extra, everyone looked excited and dressed up. We loved the hotel’s front-facing room and its lovely views, too. It’s easy to walk to great bars and restaurants, and the staff were nice. Such a great vibe. We absolutely love staying at The Grande Highland Hotel.

We’re local, but spent our anniversary playing tourists in the ‘Speakeasy’ room. The downtown view was perfect, and the amenities were awesome. I liked how the decor mixes the old West with modern comfort, and the guy who checked us in was great. We’re planning to come back for NEXT year’s anniversary, assuming my wife keeps me around for year 17!
