Super 8 Price

The clerks on both shifts were awesome, and the motel was clean and comfortable. I’d stay again. The bed felt a little too firm for me, though I’m very sensitive to a new mattress because I have two titanium plates and six screws in my tailbone. I usually stay at a Best Western because their beds feel a lot like mine at home, but the Price one cost almost $200 for the night, much more than the one I’d stayed at the night before in Meridian, Idaho. I’m on disability, so I have to be frugal and use a Motel 8 when I need an alternative. The price here was right.

The rooms were clean, and we had a pleasant stay despite the circumstances. My family was here because our house had caught fire, and the staff were all amazing. Kim was my favorite. She got me laughing during one of the most stressful times in my life, and I really appreciated it. The beds felt like sleeping on the floor, and light from Wingers next door made it hard to sleep. Different beds and curtains would help.

The stay was rough from the start. There was a strong smell in the lobby, noise from people upstairs kept us awake until midnight, and cars idling right outside our windows woke us at 5 a.m. This was the only bad hotel on our May 5 road trip, which included several stays. If you have a service animal, I’d avoid this place. They asked about its breed and tasks, as well as my disability, then said they would decide whether it met their criteria. That’s completely wrong. The business needs to train and discipline its manager and employees better. Staff can’t just misrepresent Utah law to people with service animals.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. There was a Roku TV with Netflix, too. I’ll stay here again next time I’m passing through Price.
