Graduate by Hilton Princeton

We booked at the last minute for my parents, and Mr. Shahid went out of his way to arrange a handicap-accessible room. He was professional, kind, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process much easier for us. The hotel is beautifully maintained, very clean, and welcoming. My parents especially appreciated how clean it was and how warm the staff were. They truly enjoyed their stay. Highly recommended for the service and hospitality.

We didn’t stay overnight, but after touring Princeton’s campus my wife and I stopped at The Graduate for coffee and a break. The coffees were good, though the inviting atmosphere was the best part. The lobby is beautiful and warm, with thoughtful design, a charming coffee shop, and a restaurant. It felt cozy enough to sit, unwind, talk, or study. They had just started decorating for the holidays, which added to that welcoming feel. I can’t comment on the rooms, but we had a very positive visit and enjoyed pausing there for a while.

The location in Princeton is hard to beat, and the lobby and general decor are stunning. Service was great, especially from the valet and bartenders. The room was a different experience. It was very dark, with badly placed lighting, so I couldn’t put on makeup or see well in the full-length mirror. The curtained closet wasn’t appealing, the walls and floors were thin, and the AC didn’t work. The bed was fine, though not especially comfortable. My room didn’t have the serious cleanliness problems others described, but the carpet didn’t give me much confidence. I’d definitely return for the hotel bar and that amazing lobby, but the room makes me hesitate despite the location.

We came in for drinks and an early evening appetizer. The decor and vibe are excellent, and the service was friendly, prompt, and professional the whole time. The Eggplant Bolognese appetizer was mediocre to me and lacked flavor. I won’t lower the rating based on that without having a full dinner, though. We’ll come back for dinner and a more detailed review.
