We spent six nights here in November and loved watching the ocean through the three big windows. The one-bedroom setup had a living room and full kitchen, with everything we needed, plus a comfortable king bed. There was even beach gear, including chairs, an umbrella, and a bodysurf, which was a nice surprise. We also enjoyed having a patio with a table and chairs facing the water. The neighborhood in Princeville feels upscale, with a golf club nearby. You can see sunrise and sunset from near the apartment, and famous Hanaley beach is about 15 minutes away by car. Our favorite outings were the hike from Kalalau to Hanakapi beach, a snorkeling catamaran trip to Napali coast, Hanaley beach, Waimea canyon, Kauai Hindu monastery, and Luau Kalamaku. Aloha!

E10 gave us a wonderful view from the third floor, and the place had all the comforts of home. We did a lot of research before our first trip to Kauai, and this turned out to be quiet, spacious, clean, and completely worry-free. Five stars!

We've stayed here twice, once in building C and once in building B. C sits on the cliff side, so it gets a nicer breeze, better views, and more ocean sound. The property overlooks the cliffs on Kauai's North shore, and there's a pool, though we never used it. Instead, we could walk down a jungle trail to a semi-private beach. The photos show building A and some spots along the cliff.

The location of Sealodge is unbeatable, with ocean views from the porch and mountains visible from the kitchen. Unfortunately, that's about all C2 has going for it. We rented it from Hestara, and the unit was shabby, run down, and clearly neglected. There was ripped bathroom linoleum curling at the edges and creating a tripping risk, a hole in the bathroom wall, and missing baseboards in much of the unit. The patio door and windows were hard to open and close, many locks didn't work, and a wooden stick was supplied instead of proper locks. The patio screen was torn, its fasteners were broken or missing, and we bought duct tape to hold the screen by the front door. We also saw what looked like mold where the wall meets the ceiling outside the bathroom, and there were cockroaches. Most of this could be fixed quickly and affordably if the owner or management wanted to address it. I've attached photos so future renters can judge for themselves. Do NOT rent this unit!
