Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Prineville, OR

We stay here every year and are always happy with the clean rooms, good breakfast, and friendly staff. My one recurring gripe is the pool area seating. There are only four lounge chairs, and usually one family takes them up. A few more seats for chaperones would be spectacular.

The 12 pm checkout worked out great. We came from Beaverton to stay the night before our grandkids’ basketball and volleyball games, and the hotel was 3min from the schools. We could relax there between games. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and we used the fridge and microwave. Breakfast had warm food, with hot coffee in the lobby and in the room. It may not be the cheapest hotel in Prineville, but I had no complaints about what I paid when we left.

I had a comfortable week here and would stay again. The room was spacious and the hotel immaculate, with wide parking spots and rooms designated no-pets and non-smoking. Staff in both the breakfast area and front desk were friendly. There were plenty of bathroom towels, and the curved shower curtain stayed off me. Bring a streaming device like a Roku stick for Netflix, since the TV isn’t smart. There are several places to eat within walking distance, including food trucks and a restaurant. The trucks are part of the brewery, which is a nice spot.

I won’t recommend this place or stay again. We were charged $152 for a room that wasn’t worth it: the bedding wasn’t great, there was dirt on the floors, and I had to wipe things down. I’ll look for a better, cheaper pet-friendly hotel. We left a full $70 bottle of TCH/CBD tincture, just bought for my husband’s chronic daily migraines. We called yesterday and were told it would be locked in the housekeeping office and they’d call us back, but no one did. When I drove back, I was told they had thrown it out. Something doesn’t add up, and I’m positive someone pocketed it. The price and condition of the room were bad enough, and this made it worse.
