Omni Providence Hotel

Krista, the night manager, made our late arrival smooth even though the weather had delayed us. The staff’s helpfulness and attention to detail were the best part of a very enjoyable stay. Our room was well equipped, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable.

We needed a place for the night after our house lost heat in the blizzard, and the staff were amazing and accommodating. They let us stay until 1 even though checkout is usually at 11. The room, sheets, blankets, and bathroom were all incredibly clean. There’s a tub and shower combo.

I was at CiderConference 2026 and enjoyed staying at Omni. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. I did spot an old shampoo bottle in the shower, but, well, we’re all human. The staff were super helpful when I needed to add an extra night. I’d stay again if CiderCon came back.

The staff on site were kind, apologetic, and quick to try to help. The problem was that the heating issue was never fixed, and management never responded or offered any accommodation. It was in the single digits outside when I stayed last weekend, and my heart went out five times in two nights. The front desk and maintenance staff both said they had reported it to management more than once. I contacted the company and replied to its post-stay survey, but still heard nothing. For a place this expensive, being cold the whole time just isn’t acceptable. The only reason I booked was the location and easy access to the convention center. We’ve stayed at the Omni in Providence and other cities for cheerleading competitions several times, and this was our second terrible experience. I have to return to Providence in March and stay there again, but I’d change hotels if I could. It’s nowhere near worth the cost. The issue is management’s lack of response, both locally and at the corporate level.
