Brass Key Guesthouse - Adults Only

Brass Key itself was fantastic, and we'd happily return. The place has loads of character, a beautiful property, a great hot tub, and a very comfortable room. In the off-season, breakfast was at the sister property, Crowne Pointe, a short walk away. That morning began badly: the breakfast area was chaotic and the host was so rude that we nearly left. Once things settled, he apologized and explained he was trying to manage guests from both hotels with just himself and one chef. We had a good chat, and he was friendly once the pressure eased. Even so, the start affected the experience. At this price, breakfast should be better organized, with more support for staff. It seemed like he needed extra help.

Kevin let me into my room early so I could get ready for the Grand wine tasting at town hall, which started at 1pm. Later I realized I'd forgotten my swimsuit for the heated pool and hot tub. Silly of me! Next morning, Kevin wished me well and offered cookies for the trip. The property is lovely and the people are kind. I had a very pleasant one-night stay and hope to come again.

We had a great stay and will be back. The service blew us away, and the place is laid out beautifully. Our room was quiet, roomy, comfortable, and had a special view. The pool was clean and at a great temperature, and we enjoyed the 5 o'clock wine and cheese happy hour. The location was fantastic too.

The staff made our Brass Key stay, from Andrea checking that I was happy to my outstanding housekeeper Careen, who kept my room immaculately clean. At the breakfast house, John and Yvonne were kind, the room was always clean, and the food stayed fully stocked. The location was perfect and the pool was beautiful. I can't wait to return!
