Best Western Plus Provo University Inn

I’m disabled, and getting in and out of the shower was fairly easy. There was a handle on the side for stability. We’d had a hard time finding a place with an elevator, and this was the first one we found. Is Best Western really the only place in Provo with elevators?! The front desk guy was a sweetheart, super friendly and helpful. He explained how things worked, when breakfast was served, and where we could get food at 2 a.m. Our room was spacious, with two queen beds, a desk, a Keurig with coffee, a TV, and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was great, with eggs, bacon, fruit, breads, jam, oatmeal, and cereal. Checkout was easy, which says a lot from someone who’s lived in Vegas her whole life. Five stars, great job!

The room had a big window looking onto the landscaping, which made it feel bright and open when I wanted some daylight. At night, the curtains kept the room dark, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had in a hotel. I slept really well. Everything was spotless and well cared for, and the standard amenities were all there. The calm, welcoming feel put me at ease right away. The location was convenient, easy to reach, and close to what I needed. I left feeling rested, and would stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel and rooms were both quite nice. One breakfast thought, if you’re serving dry biscuits, some sausage gravy would go well with them. The yogurt ran out pretty early, too, but we made do.

The location was great, but the desk clerk acted like she hated her job and should find another one. The room cleanliness was the bigger problem: the toilet seat was up with tissue in the bowl, and there was hair on the floor. It felt like the room hadn’t been cleaned. I wiped things down myself, and I’ll be wearing flip-flops in the room.
