My brother and I had never tried a bed and breakfast before, and we were glad to find this place at short notice. The whole visit was such a happy surprise, thanks especially to John, who was kind and made sure we felt at home and had what we needed. The Victorian furnishings and historic architecture were lovely, and the lawn was peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was a delicious, nicely rounded meal made to your liking. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thanks, John, for making it memorable.

The garden suite was a real treat. It had a very comfortable bed, a jacuzzi and a separate shower, plus a small porch overlooking the garden. It's not a private garden, but it's quiet and a lovely place to relax. Steve and Jelly were wonderful hosts and knew a lot about the area, especially the history of their home. The house and garden are beautiful, and breakfast brought something different and delightful each day. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back.

The house was beautiful, comfortable, and well furnished, and we got good value for our stay. The owners and staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good too. It's a shame the owners are selling. I don't know how long the place will stay open or whether it will change.

They went out of their way to make us feel cared for. Whether it was putting together an impromptu tea party or accommodating special food needs, they tried to make the little things that matter to you happen. I've never felt so looked after by strangers. What an unforgettable stay. Best anniversary and best day ever. Thank you.

We spent the night at the beautiful Edgar Olin House last week. John and Cheryl welcomed us warmly and were both very nice. The house was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. John is a great cook. The other guests were repeat visitors, which I can understand after staying here.
